Thanks to recent zoning changes that allow more homes on existing lots, we\u2019re seeing the potential for increased supply, particularly in areas where regulations around infill have become more flexible. The housing landscape is shifting: there\u2019s more building happening on already-developed land, and new construction is trending denser, with fewer ground-oriented homes being built overall.<\/p>\n<p>New policies are certainly opening the door for more of that sought-after \u2018missing middle\u2019 housing. Still, the real progress depends on factors like municipal fees, approval timelines, building codes, and access to financing.
