August brought a real contrast across Canada’s housing markets. In Toronto, sales slipped by 1.3% and prices edged down, while Vancouver saw sales climb 8.5% even as prices softened. Ottawa experienced a minor price increase, Montreal’s listings jumped 7.1%, and Calgary faced a 9% drop in sales with an 8% decrease in prices. Watching these regional shifts reminds me how every market has its own rhythm. Here in Nova Scotia, I’m always focused on helping clients make sense of the numbers and move forward with clarity, no matter what’s happening nationwide.
