Preparation before you list can have a big pay off. Check out the list below:
- Start Packing
  Pack things you won't need before your move and put them in storage. De-clutter surfaces, closets, and book cases. Remove any family photos or personal items. Buyers need to see what they are buying in order to see themselves in your home. Too many reminders that it is your home can distract them.
- Painting
  Painting is one of the least expensive ways to improve your home. Evalute both interior and exterior spaces to determine where new paint would have the biggest impact.
- Carpet or No Carpet
  If carpet is dirty or worn consider replacing it with hard surface flooring. Many buyers today are not carpet fans.
- Clean and Tidy
